Strömfors Bed & Bistro offers warm hotel-style accommodation in the middle of a beautiful iron village all year round. The accommodations are located on the upper floor of the main Manor built in 1892, as well as in Krouvinmäki, built in 1784 and located 50 meters away from the main Manor.

Main manor

The accommodations located on the second floor of the main Manor have 1-, 2-, and 3-person rooms. Each room is completely unique in its atmosphere and has a charming view of the ironworks village. Shared toilet and washing facilities are located in the immediate vicinity of the rooms.

Krouvinmäki

The single-level Krouvinmäki house has a total of 8 rooms for 2, 3, and 5 people, which are perfect for families. There are separate toilet and washing facilities for women and men in the corridor. Hotel guests can use the well-equipped kitchen at the end of the house.

Sauna

The Manor has a spacious sauna that can be reserved by groups. The sauna can accommodate about 10 people to enjoy the baths at once. The dressing room has a fridge with refreshments to quench your thirst. From the dressing room there is access to a small porch.

Breakfast

Breakfast offering a variety of products from the local area is served in the Manor’s restaurant hall and in the summertime, on the garden-like terrace.

Furry Guests

We also warmly welcome dog-guests!

Dogs are welcome in all our rooms. Especially in the summer, Krouvinmäki’s rooms are very comfortable for dogs, because they are quiet and stay cool all year round. The nearby Kukuljärvi hiking trail is perfect for hiking with dogs.

Something to see and experience for everyone

There is plenty to see and experience in the village for everyone. The body of water that dominates the area invites you to go on a river trip in canoes, kayaks or sup-boards. You should inquire about equipment and guided tours from Jari Jokinen’s Wellsters.

In the summertime, the artisans’ small shops bring colour and life to the village. Anne Laakson’s A´la Talli and Vesa Virtanen’s Roseborg serve year-round.

Those interested in a unique sauna experience can book a turn with treatments at the Strömfors Hyvinvointi yurt sauna.

In Ketunpesä, 8 km from Ruukki in Strömfors, small pottery courses are organized in a natural environment.
